The events of the play are focused on the moments after a major life event happens. Treadwell wants us to see Young Woman’s reactions to these events, not the events themselves; understanding Young Woman and ultiamtely what drives her to kill her husband is more important than watching her get married, or engage in her affair or even watch her give birth. It is her inner thoughts and how she feels in this mechanical world that lends us the most insight.
So, what is different today for our discussion board… well, you all get to lead the discussion.
