Please respond to one of the following questions regarding theory and health behavior.
The construct of self-efficacy is common to several theories and models of health behavior. Describe what is meant by self-efficacy and explain how it applies to a specific health issue or behavior that is relevant to the program you are creating. Suggest one or two program activities that could be used to build self-efficacy among your target population.
Imagine that your program planning staff is resistant to developing theory-driven activities. Make an argument for why theories and models of health behavior are useful and give an illustrative example that cites evidence from professional literature (journal articles) in the field of health promotion, health education, or public health
