Health & Medical question to help me study.
I agree autonomy should be at the top of the list in accordance to importance of the patient’s care. If the patient chooses to be active in their health care it means they are more willing to compliance of their care. Autonomy is the gate way for better health outcomes. If the patient is active in their treatments it shows a sense of responsibility too. Autonomy gives the patient a voice and every one wants to be heard. As a nurse it is important that we correctly educate our patient’s so that they can make the most knowledgeable decision leading to a positive health care outcome.
