Group Recent Company News Presentation

Each group will be assigned a publicly-traded company not otherwise assigned for an individual project, and will make 15-20 minute presentation focusing recent analysis of the news contained in its earnings reports (last available 2 quarters). The presentation must contain the discussion of the following: 

1. Recent earnings news and impact of recent geopolitical events (e.g. COVID 19, Ukraine/Russia War, Chinese Economy) on the company; 
   1. This discussion must focus on the information contained in the company earnings releases, forms 10-Q and  conference calls transcripts. Specifically, it must discuss the concerns raised by analysts in the conference calls and how the company representatives have addressed them. 
2. Short business analysis placing this business news in a broader context using SWOT framework and Porter’s five forces.
