Introduction

There has been a lot of talk about the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) and mobile technology (MT) in development during the past decade, and the discussion of mobile technologies in agriculture is a subset of that.

Recent studies have found encouraging results, concluding that "mobile phones do have a multi-dimensional positive influence on sustainable poverty alleviation.“

However, the greatest barrier to fully realizing this promise is the lack of widespread access to such devices.

The aim of this presentation is to conceptualize the creation of an Agri-business Mobile Application.

A combination of the most important elements results in a beautiful experience and journey for the user, which ultimately leads to the promotion of agriculture. One strategy for generating cash that can be utilized by may be the placement of paid adverts.

TARGET AUDIENCE AND USER JOURNEY

The user journey, also referred to as the consumer journey, describes the conditions in which a user would engage with a mobile application.

The target market for the mobile app in this instance consists of business owners, business shareholders, customers, and staff.

On the customer's path, we want to hook them with irresistible offers that they can't refuse, which will lead to more sway.

Second, when a customer is getting ready to make a purchase, they should have an easy time doing it.

In addition, we need to upsell by sending customers recommendations for related services and products on a frequent basis.

The target market for the mobile app in this instance consists of business owners, business shareholders, customers, and staff. All of these demographics need to exist if conscious capitalism is to succeed. Investors in the company are crucial to the success of this venture. We also need to make sure that we promptly address customer concerns and take steps to enhance their experiences with our services. Finally, on the topic of loyalty, we should reward our most loyal customers (Oliveira et al.2017).

5

FEATURES FOR THE MOBILE APP

Examples of functionality that might be necessary in a mobile app include:

Features for registering and logging in.

Photo exhibits.

RSS feeds for social media.

Icon Sets for Product.

Menus

Membership cards.

Systems for making reservations.

Additions to Calendars

Features for the mobile app need to be very clear for easy access to the customers. Login and sign up are the chief credentials that the company will use to get access to services from the product menus in the app. Moreover, social feeds and image galleries are to be placed in an orderly manner to avoid congestion view of the app by the customers. The loyalty cards and booking systems features are included to help the customers in the process of their transaction (Vossaert & Naessens, 2016). The navigation feature will aid the user to go through the mobile app smoothly. Generally, these features should define the vision. Any content uploaded to the app should be adequate and relevant to avoid suspicions from the clients.

6

PRODUCT AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Specifications for goods and services typically provide a high-level overview of the items' or services' functional and systemic requirements.

Examples of such requirements and guidelines include:

How an OS will be implemented.

Guidelines for Upkeep.

Determination of Qualifications.

Documentation of APIs and Services.

Need for Developer Credentials/Accounts

The mobile application requires GPS and internet connection to display results. Maintenance specifications such as type of resources are upgrade specifications are technical specifications that impact the functionality of the app. Depending on the mobile app specification, Android or iOS operating system would be considered which would handle it best. Moreover, credentials specifications such as app passwords and pins are dependent on the type of platform used. Different platforms require a specific kind of badges or passwords. On the other hand, the product specifications involve: the product can only be accessible by individuals aged twenty-one and above, by registered company employees and investors and every user should sign in their email address, phone number, uploaded credentials and documents, and profile page.

7

     PLATFORMS FOR THE MOBILE APP

The best platform for this application is.

IOS platform.

Android platform.

It is best if the app is launched on both platforms. Although, the best way to launch them both on different apps is to launch them at different times. It is done this way to enable the business to develop performance tracking, a proper budget, and proper resource allocations. Android offers advantages such as open-source licensing, easy integration, easy adoption, and multiple channels of sales. However, the IOS platform also offers better revenues compared to android and have generally high-quality hardware. For each of these platforms, thorough research should be conducted to note the type of software used by the target audience to increase the number of customers. The app should be compatible with the platform to avoid delays or turn down of installation of the app.

8

DEPENDENCIES, ASSUMPTIONS,CONSTRAITS AND SUBMISSION

How users will engage with the app's features and services is based on assumptions.

Dependencies are opportunities that the goods or services will require to achieve their goals.

The technical assets that are submitted to the platforms where the app is released are typically included.

Constraints are limitations placed on the amount of money, time, and resources that the application developers must use.

No matter how much assumption is needed, there are major things that need to be taken account into. Such factors include target audience and interaction design, However, it should avoid mistakes such as brand loyalty assumption, the maintenance cost mistake, and total addressable market mistake. For the submission of app features on the platforms, it all depends on what the platform requires for the app to be launched. For Apple App Store they do require marketing URL, description, contact information, app category, and company/entity name. On the other hand, google play requires app icon, app type, content rating, privacy policy, contact email, and short and full descriptions.

9

MAINTENACE AND UPGRADE

The application must by default be maintained and enhanced throughout time in order to properly satisfy the requirements of the customers.

As a result, it is necessary to make a plan detailing the intervals at which its maintenance should be carried out.

The expense associated with maintenance and upgrades.

Allocation of resources in order to advance product development.

Since this mobile app is for business, it means it plays a very critical role. There are various types of maintenance which include emergency maintenances which involve maintenances that require to be addressed urgently, perfective maintenance which aims at changing source codes to bring new features, adaptive maintenance that brings few changes to make the system updated, preventing maintenance that is meant to stop error occurrences and corrective maintenances that repairs the defects and faults that occur daily in the app. It is important to maintain the app since it saves the app from being abandoned, avoids loss of revenues, secures it from cyber-attacks, and keeps the app competitive. Therefore, the mobile app maintenance needs a skilful team and thorough process to keep it out of bugs (Mota et al. 2018). Therefore, for maintenance to be successful, it should be done promptly, resources should get adequately allocated, and maintenance cost should get budgeted on from the very start.
