Honestly, I've always had very simple lighting systems on and in my  house. Typically, for the tree we just have it on a flash setting with a  timer. For outside, usually, we just have constant lights that get  turned off during the day and come on when it is dark, for me 6-7p.m.  Eventually, I want to have a lightshow, I think that would be cool  especially, taking inspiration from some of the videos I've seen with  drones.
