Homework 1: 

This assignment will revolve around an acceptable use policy (AUP) in the workplace, school, business, organization, etc.

Please create/write an acceptable use policy (AUP) for any workplace environment you want to choose.  It can be a (1) school, (2) business, (3) government agency, etc.  Assume you are tasked with creating an AUP for this organization.  How would you do it?  What would you include?  How would you have your organization enforce it?  What key points would you include in it?  What actions would you recommend be taken against a worker violating this policy?  And anything else you would include. 

Homework 2: 

Please write a 3 to 5 page paper which addresses the issues presented below:

What are the ethical issues in social media today?  Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google, Instagram, etc.  How can those issues be addressed?  Try to find clips that may be considered “unethical” in your thinking. 

This is a time of extreme technological change and transition.  How does technology impact the concept of ethics?  What decisions should be made to address this?  Technology is changing the boundaries of what is allowable.  What are the things we are doing now that will change the future?

Homework 3: 

 Please write a 2 – 3 page paper on "internet censorship."  In your own words define how you see internet censorship.  What is it to others?  Then provide your ideas on how it can be managed.  Should or should not governments be involved in overseeing this?  

Homework4: 

The assignment for this week is to write a 2 – 3 page paper on the following:

"What are some of the legal and ethical issues dealing with artificial intelligence and how do those issues influence your thinking about its everyday use?"

You can also research and find supplemental resources on this topic.  Please be sure to cite them and give appropriate credit.
