For your final discussion, you will be reflecting on what you have learned in this course and “presenting” this reflection and application to your classmates.
Choose a leader in the hospitality industry that inspires you and has influenced your leadership style. You may select anyone from any segment of the hospitality industry or you can identify a leader from outside of the industry if an industry professional is not relevant. The written reflection should identify at least six of the following eight elements:
Name and position held
Background biographical information about the leader
The path they followed to their current position
Conflicts or challenges they met along the way
The biggest challenge of their leadership
Their vision for their company
Why you are inspired by them
How they have or will influence your leadership style
