The results of this study show improvement in the two women who received the therapeutic exercise.

Measurements:
The finger-width technique and Dial Calipers were used to measure the width of the gap in the abdominals.
Not addressing diastasis recti can end up with long term complications like hernias, lower back, and pelvic pain, and postural imbalances.
Separation may also worsen if unaddressed.
PTAs have the skill set to educate their patients on abdominal engagement, postural corrections, and therapeutic exercise to address the abdomen's muscular deformity and physical appearance.
Addressing posture, abdominal education, and proper body mechanics, will provide the best outcome in the reduction of Diastasis Recti
