In this discussion, you will consider development of identity and autonomy during adolescence. In your opinion, what are three of the most important factors (e.g. physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, self-esteem, peers, family, cultural, etc.) that shape identity and autonomy development? For this response, you will incorporate information from this week’s readings and resources, as well as one outside scholarly source. If you wish, you may also support your response by reflecting on your own adolescent journey of identity development.
