For this final paper, students are asked to take on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) within a large healthcare network. As COO, you have been asked to report on a few areas of concern that were made present during the recent global pandemic. These areas of concern include high employee stress and turnover rates, an increase in stockouts for vital healthcare supplies, and a general concern that some of the organization’s leaders require updated training. Additionally, members of the board are increasingly asking whether new technologies 23 such as Blockchain, The Metaverse, and Healthcare 4.0 would be a good fit for the network. The report should address these concerns and give recommendations for next steps for each identified topic.
