After engaging with the learning resources in this module, hopefully your knowledge and understanding of the importance “teams” to optimum outcomes has grown. Now it is time to examine the team structure and process in your practice setting and to identify the essential team members for promoting success of your proposed project.

Create a presentation that provides the following information:

1. A brief overview of the concept of the value of teams in enhancing patient quality and safety, with references. (anticipated 1 to 2 slides)
2. An overview of the team structure and team processes in your practice setting. (anticipated 2 to 4 slides)
3. Describe how the team structure and processes you have identified are relevant to your proposed Project. Do you anticipate the team structure and processes will be a barrier to your project, OR will they provide a foundation for success of your proposed Project? And why? (anticipated 3 to 5 slides)
