Personality and Psychological Disorders

Why is the study of personality important? What does our understanding of traits tell us about how we function in everyday life? Why is the study of psychological disorders important? What real-world impact do psychological disorders have on those who are diagnosed (or who have a disorder that is undiagnosed)? Chose some topics that we covered this week – whether specifically relevant to personality or specifically relevant to a particular psychological disorder.
