1.) Introduce yourself to your class. In this introduction, you should include your location and career/educational goals. Also, embed a picture of yourself or something important to you. See video on how to embed picture in Discussion Forum Tips and Tricks.

2.) Find and summarize an additional resource, discussing the applicability of statistics in the real world. Pick out a key item in this resource that applies terminology from Week 1 such as numerical and categorical data, sampling principles, and/or experimental design (USLO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, & 1.4). This can be a scholarly or non-scholarly resource. Be sure to reference with in-text citations (author, date) when necessary and in APA format. See the example below for correct APA referencing format:
