The course module lecture introduced the Project Management Institute’s “Code of Ethics and Professional ConductLinks to an external site.” as a benchmark for ethical standards in project management.
For your initial response to this discussion, address the following:
Identify a global project-related event that was publicized recently (within the past 18 months) with ethical implications (positive or negative). Select an event not already dominating the discussion forum. Then, relate the central values of the “Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct” to the project-related event.
Produce a 30-second audio-video “news brief”, with closed captions or a transcript, of the project-related event including relevant facts, with a focus on at least one of the central values discussed in the course lecture, including fairness, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Introduce and post your news brief as a portion of your initial commentary response.
