Administrators need to be able to motivate teachers, support staff, and students to move the school forward toward achievement of its mission. An important tool in the administrator’s toolbox is power. French and Raven (1968) identified five types of power potentially available to administrators. Write a paper that discusses French and Raven’s (1968) theory of power and how knowledge of these types of power should inform the work of administrators.
