Using reading and study resources for this week, develop a comprehensive budget based on the funding source guidelines and your logic model. Funders will not award you the grant unless you can account for a reasonable budget that allows for strategies to be accomplished, personnel to be paid, supplies, travel, indirect costs, et cetera. An Internet search using terms such as "Preparing a Budget for a Grant Proposal" will yield a number of example budgets from which you can draw. In addition, discuss any ethical dilemmas that might arise as you plan your budget. Refer to the NASW Code of Ethics as a guide to resolve these ethical dilemmas.
Using the resources provided, create a budget for your project using the guidelines from your funding source and the information from the resources. If the funding source does not supply you with a budget template, choose one that fits your needs from online sources. Your budget must add up to the allocation in the grant for each of the years the grant covers. The budget needs to cover all necessary expenditures. Finally, address any ethical issues that arise during the creation of the budget. When your budget is complete, defend each line item's inclusion and parameters. This section should be written in narrative form.
