PURPOSE Healthcare systems must address both internal and external influencing factors to assure safe, high quality, cost-efficient care and improve pa=ent outcomes. Avoidable use and misuse of the Emergency Department are phenomena that directly impact organiza=onal outcomes and efficiency. The purpose of this assignment is to analyze the misuse of healthcare resources from a systems leadership perspec=ve in order to propose viable solu=ons.
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES Through this assignment, the student will address the following course learning outcomes:
