Recognize some ways racism appears is evident in health care and identify factors inside and outside the system that create disparities in health care access and quality for diverse patients. In complex disease management, how can health care providers identify and reduce biases and discrimination that could impact patient care? Consider the system's internal and external processes and structures that contribute to racism and other forms of discrimination.
