Think of your favorite human-computer interaction. Perhaps it was with Alexa, a video game, or something as simple as a TV remote. What made the experience so rewarding? Were the sounds authentic, visuals realistic, feedback precise? Was it intense, relaxing, motivating, or curiosity-inspiring?
Discuss your experience and how designers might have approached creating the user experience you so enjoyed. Were there surveys, focus groups, interviews, or competitor research consulted in its design? What types of data informed the design?
