Isabella is a recent graduate of an allied health program at the local community college. While in school, she had taken a course from a professor who she really admired.. In her first job out of school as a hospital clinic registration clerk, she happened to register the professor for an outpatient radiation treatment the professor was receiving for a recently diagnosed cancer diagnosis. The two chatted as Isabella input the professor’s information into the hospital’s EHR system. They talked about the course and how much Isabella liked the course and the professor as a teacher. Isabella thought about the professor all day and felt bad that the professor had cancer and had to go through cancer treatment. She knew many of her classmates liked the professor as much as she did, so after work, she decided to post a message to her friends on Instagram about the professor and suggested they send the professor well wishes. Isabella shared the professor’s home address with her friends.
