You will write a research project on a criminal case which involved a wrongful conviction.  The case can be either a state or federal case.  You will be assigned a state to research. The paper must be a minimum of 5 pages. 

The paper should cover the trial, what evidence was used against  the individual, what the sentence was, how long did it take for the wrongful conviction to be determined, and whether the individual received any monetary award.  Include your thoughts on the case in relation to the criminal justice system.
