07 Jul Advocacy Campaign Presentation
The purpose of this assignment is to introduce the process of advocacy by creating a campaign to support a piece of legislation becoming law. This is your strategy for implementing the policy change you proposed or supported in your Policy Brief. You will have five minutes to give a presentation that outlines the steps you would take to create a task-oriented campaign to see the policy passed in the next 1-2 years. You will incorporate information you learned about the legislative process, persuasive messaging, and writing to create a detailed outline of steps in your advocacy campaign. You are speaking as an advocate to a group of social workers.
You will submit two items for this assignment.
