Review Comparing Mediation with Interventions of Other Helping Professions, pages 265-272 in the Barsky text.
Identify a conflict situation in which you see yourself as a potential mediator. Select that mediation role and one of the other two roles from Table III.1 in the book.
To what extent do you have to change your skills, strategies, and ethical standards when you switch hats from your role as a mediator to one of the other roles. Be specific, using the areas on the table, such as differing points of focus with neutrality, for example.
