07 Jul Literary Analysis Essay: Japanese novels
This is a literary analysis essay (2000-2500 words) for the Japanese writer class. In this class, I read some Japanese old novels such as Higuchi Ichiyo’s “Growing Up”, “Troubled Water”, or Natsume Soseki’s “Kokoro”.

I am thinking that how women are represented in Higuchi Ichiyo’s novels is one of the good topics for the essay.
If you use that topic, please refer to some other Higuchi Ichiyo’s readings and novels, but the topic is totally up to you.
