07 Jul Argumentative Essay on Changing Bullying Rules and Outcomes
The change you argue for must be directed toward a logical audience, which means addressing someone with the ability to make the change. Arguing that your high school should add a swimming pool wont logically work if you address students, who cannot make this change happen.
The paper must first show a need for the change, using reasons that your audience would find persuasive. Remember that these reasons should be based on facts but should also appeal to their values and emotions.
Regardless of the genre chosen, this paper must contain this content:
- An explanation of the problem, with evidence
- A suggested solution to the problem
- Steps needed to implement the solution
- A refutation (counter argument) section
This content should be the body of the paper. Youll have a separate introduction and conclusion also.
