CONSTRUCTION OF FINAL DOCUMENT:
- Prior to completing this final document, be sure to visit the APA resources provided in the
- Using professor feedback from assignments #1 through #4, correct and update the following items to be included within the final document (include the following in your final Strategic Plan):
- Cover page.
- One page abstract of the project.
- Historical background of the company.
- Discuss the distinguishing features (Market size, Market growth rate, Industry strength, etc.) of the industry that the company is in.
- Discuss the competition within the industry. Who are the main players? How intense is the rivalry? How attractive is the industry? What factors are critical to competing successfully in the industry? Porter’s Model of Competition must be used in this section.
- Discuss how the industry is changing?
- What is this organization’s strategy to compete? Is the strategy working? Perform a complete, fully developed, with explanations, prioritized SWOT analysis. (A minimum of eight components for element of SWOT, along with the identification and justification of the UT: Ultimate Threat is required: 12 components for each SWOT element=C, 16=B, 20=A).
- Perform a financial analysis based on all current information available. Include in this analysis, a full comparison of the respective companys financials to their top five publicly traded competitors.
- Note: the final paper is typically 30-40 pages (including the additional sections below
- In addition to the above:
- Add a marketing plan for the company (3-5pages)
- Complete a one page abstract that summaries the research conducted and the findings of your case review (Redo the abstract from Module 1 and do the ovedrall one)
- Note: Utilize all available current information: Current Annual Report, Current News, Current Research (beyond simple “internet search”), etc.
