Category I: Write a book report (maximum 14 points)
You may choose one of the following books:

5. Deciding Whats True: The Rise of Political Fact-Checking in American Journalism by Lucas GravesDog.
6. Whistle Politics: How Coded Racial Appeals Have Reinvented Racism and Wrecked the Middle Class by Ian Haney Lopez
To get full credit read the entire book, then write a paper no longer than one page, EXPLORING TWO THEMES that the book deals with. Use examples from throughout the book in your writing.
