Final papers should be between 1000-1250 words.
For the final paper in this class I would like you to do three things:
1. Tell me what, if anything, differentiates biological life from “artificial life.” Should created beings (whether mechanical, digital, etc.) have any of the same rights and dignities that you have?
2. Select an example from popular culture (television, movies, books, etc.) that illustrates the point you made in response to #1, and specifically explain how this example helps us understand the issue.
3. If you could make one change to the way human’s interact with technology and technological beings going forward–what would it be? Why?
