15 Aug Compare and Contrast Essay
This writing practicum will assess a short essay comparing and contrasting followership and servant leadership.
NOTES:
USE OF ACTIVE VOICE
Sentences will have no more than 30 words
Paragraphs will have 3-5 sentences strictly.
Employ the Army Writing Style and standard written English.
Author will place the main point within the top 2% of the document and front loads within paragraphs.
Argument is issue focused and analyzes data/primary sources (roughly 80% analysis and 20% summary/paraphrase
Use of active voice primarily; passive voice is used rarely and logically.
Concise with sentence structure. No more than 30 words in a sentence. Use of the minimal number of words to get main point across.
