15 Aug Tiny house village for the homeless
PowerPoint:
If you were presenting this to the person you wrote your business letter to, you would need a
visual aid. This is the purpose of your PowerPoint. Explain your call to action, why it is important, who is
affected, etc. It is required to use images, photographs, icons, etc. to make your point. Dont worry about
copyright infringement. This is just for class purposes. Be sure you think about ethos, pathos, and logos when
creating your visual aid; make your message effective!
Required Slides: 1) Title page, 2) Introduction, 3) Your proposal, 4) Your reasons and supporting data (body
paragraph criteria), 5) Objections or alternative proposals, 6) Your solution to the problem, 7) Your letter of
transmittal and to whom it is going, 8) Conclusion, 9) Works Cited page + any other slides you need to make
your message effective.
Your PowerPoint will use all flourishment available to you. Think about transitions between slides and phrases,
images, data visualizations, or whatever else you need. In addition, each of your slides needs to have speaker
notes. This is a part of the PPT where you can put more than what is on the slide. Act as if the speaker notes are
you presenting this information and give your presentation. At minimum, each slide should contain one healthy
paragraph (more would be better). Speaker notes are required
