15 Aug Gender & Sexuality
One of the topics we have addressed in this course explores the relationship between gender and accessibility to public spaces. As you might remember, a new controversy started a couple of years ago in Charlotte, when a group of politicians repeal an ordinance that required excepted restrooms, showers, and similar facilities for people of different genders. During the debate generated by this initiative, E. Gregory Wallace, a constitutional law professor, published this opinion piece in The Hill.

Please, read professors Wallace article. Then, and based on the material covered during the semester, provide a critical analysis of Wallaces op-ed. You need to provide at least three arguments supporting or challenging Wallaces argument.
You need to take a clear position on this debate. Your decision to either support or challenge the arguments included in the article should be based on your own political convictions and the material covered during our class.
To successfully address this question, you need to:
– Provide examples and references from the articles covered during the semester -you must reference at least THREE articles assigned for this course.
I am going to support Wallaces argument.
I have provided the link to his article up top in bold and attached 4 readings that were read during the semester that need to be used as references and examples.
