2.1 Research Proposal & Preliminary Bibliography. Write at least 2 pages in which you outline the topic and/or text you have selected as the subject of your research essay, (2) the method of analysis you plan to use (how you will make your argument), and (3) a plan for locating secondary resources. The proposal should also include a brief list of bibliographic references.

2.2 Annotated Bibliography. Identify, review, and write short summaries of 3-5 research resources related to your research proposal.

2.3 Research Paper Draft. Write a 3-5 page draft of your analytical research paper, based on your research proposal, in which you present your thesis, topic or argument. Include your evidence, secondary research, and annotated bibliography.
