Answer the following questions to critique the infographic:
- What is the title of the infographic that you’re interested in? Is it a killer header? Does it meet the general requirements for a good title?
- What is the purpose of the infographic?
- Who is the audience this infographic is designed for?
- Is the language used in the infographic appropriate for this audience?
- Does it appeal to the intended audience?
- What is the goal of the infographic?
- What does the infographic want to accomplish?
- What is the audience member supposed to get out of reading the infographic?
- Is the infographic relevant to the intended audience?
- How long did it take you to read the infographic?
- Was this an appropriate amount of time to get the message across?
- Did it miss any key information that would have been useful?
- What’s the story the infographic is trying to tell?
- Was appropriate data used? Where did the data come from?
- What headers were used? Were they appropriate?
- What additional data was needed?
- What did you think of the visual?
- Was it easy to see the big picture points of the infographic?
- Was there an appropriate use of effective design elements? Go through each of the elements and tell me about how each one was used.
- Were the sources appropriately cited?
- Be sure to include a link to the infographic in your write up.
