For this assignment, you are going to use the Waldorf Online Library to find scholarly articles that relate to drug use injuveniles as well as to policies and/or prevention programs. You will then use the Internet to locate two programs related tothe social factors.You will be using these to address the below questions in a two-page paper (not including the title and reference pages)using APA style. You must include a reference page and use APA in-text citations to reference your sources. Use aminimum of one source outside of your textbook. 

1. Summarize how the social factors including race, gender, social class, and peer pressure relate to the onset of drugabuse and juvenile delinquency. What differences do you see in these areas? Give examples for each of how itcontributes to delinquency in juveniles. 

2. Find two programs used to target any of the above-mentioned social factors in relation to juvenile delinquency anddrugs, for example, a program that specifically works with teenage girls who use drugs. How did this program cometo be? Explain the purpose of the program, and give details on its success rate, what is expected of the juvenile, andany other relevant information you find. 

3. How do theory and research assist in the types of programs, from question 2, in being created and maintainingfunding? 

4. After exploring social factors and juvenile delinquency in this unit, what are your personal thoughts on these findings?Do you think that we can ever truly prevent juvenile crime, based on any of these? Why, or why not?
