You conducted an electrical inspection of your facility and noted the following findings:
- The service panel is blocked by numerous cardboard boxes. When it was opened, it was discovered that it was not labeled and there were signs of corrosion.
- Extension cords are being used as temporary sources of power for fans in numerous locations. They are run through doorways and across walkways and forklift travel ways.
Using the risk matrix in the unit lesson, determine the risk level of the hazards before controls are applied. Using the hierarchy of controls, determine at least two control measures that would reduce the risks of each hazard. Explain how the proposed controls would affect severity and likelihood.
