Read the two short articles (links posted below). Alternatively, do your own media search and find an article that addresses some aspects of this weeks topics – Diversity, gender, and sexual orientation in the US.
Based on your reading of the liked articles (or a relevant article you found), write a discussion post that critically assesses, taking into consideration this weeks course content, how the articles address or articulate (or fail to articulate) some important issues of debate, discussion, contestation, ongoing struggles, and changes pertaining to gender and sexual orientation in the US.
Your response should be at least two paragraphs long (approx.. 500 words or about one full page, double spaced). Use formal writing style, that is, proper grammar, punctuation, word choice, using some language (concepts) from the course material, and spelling appropriate for university-level work.
