15 Aug Start Your Resources List
Objective: In this assignment you will start a list of resources for entrepreneurs that can be used by yourself and shared with the group.
Prerequisites: None
Instructions: There are many resources available to help entrepreneurs. Don’t let a lack of expertise, advice, office space, or start-up funds discourage you from starting your venture. Begin this week to assemble a list of resources that you and other members of the class can use. Also, be prepared to make contact with one resource by the end of the next unit.
For this assignment, find at least two good resources that you can use as an entrepreneur (note: by next week you will need a total of four resources). At least one should be local (wherever you are located). At least one should be a resource you can share with the group in the next unit. For example, you may want to check out your local Small Business Development Center. Or you may find a local entrepreneur who is willing to be interviewed or who can be a mentor. (Note: Your resources do not need to be overly business related. Choose resources that you can actually use, especially if they will help with your project.)
