Concert Review will assess your critical thinking of a performance and your ability to express/evaluate a musical experience.
What was new or different for you, what did you enjoy about the concert? Try to capture the entire scene in your review. Expand on your writing by including relevant facts such as the historical context, performers, the effect the venue had on the performance, or the composer’s intent. Show your ability to express musical/aural experience by utilizing the materials we have learned throughout the course (ex. dynamics, range, color, timbre, instrumentation, expression, tempo, rhythm, contour, etc).
Writing Format Requirements: Minimum of 250 words in length (1 page, double spaced, 12-point, Times New Roman).
