the common app prompt states Discuss an accomplishment ,event or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. I was thinking to write about my family adopting my sister from overseas and how i have empathy, acceptance and the ability to love without seeing or having my mom being pregnant with her. How even though she is not our biological sibling or child we never treated her any different.
