In the essay, two benefits for each theory, and two limitations for each theory will be plenty. We encourage you to look at a small number if features in depth, rather than covering a large number of benefits/limitations.

Explicit discussion on concepts: You want to explicitly unpack concepts for the reader. Avoid having the reader infer, deduce, read the subtext. Include definitions and explain concepts very clearly. Your choice of words is important here. Find the key words in the rubric and use them!

Unpack, don’t list concepts: consider the difference between listing or naming a concept and actually unpacking it. For depth in your writing, using literature to explore pros and cons of an idea. Give the reader a rich variety of perspectives on the one concept. 

Use good Essay Structure: Capture the reader with a cracking opening sentence or two to draw them in. In closing in your conclusion, tie all your threads together and leave a powerful argument for your reader in the last two sentences. This will be the last impression your reader has of your paper.
