After viewing, The Story of Girl Groups. and the videos provided. Write a paper 2-4 page paper, referring to an article, and how did your artist change the landscape for future musicians and for women in general?
In a 2-4 paper please provide answer the following questions below. Explain your answers and conclusions by providing plenty of examples from the texts, videos and listening materials. Examine the the creation of the girl group. What made a girl group, and what struggles did women face becoming “rock and roll” artists of the day? How did these struggles reflect issues of woman during the 1960’s and 1970’s? Examine the artist of your choosing, what mold did they break? How did they do it? How did they change the landscape of women in Rock and Roll? Where do we still see their influence? Draw conclusions about women in rock, what observations can you make?
