DuringWeek 7 you will select a disease and inform me of your choice via a discussionpost. There will be no duplication of disease topic so dont wait too long todecide. You will then research and writea 2 page paper on that disease.

Treatmentsavailable (if any)
Therapeuticmanagement
Prognosis
Avoidance/Prevention
Optional information to include:
How oftendoes this occur?
Are anyspecific groups more susceptible?
How doesthis disease affect others? (families, communities, regions, etc)
How doesthis disease affect you as an embalmer?

Your papershould include a cover page, two report, and a bibliography.
You willneed to include a minimum of 3 solid sources for your citations. Acceptablesources include medical journal articles, published research articles, peerreviewed journal articles. While things such as Wikipedia and WebMD do haveinformation available, these are not acceptable for your three main citationarticles.
Your paper is due bythe end of Week 9. 1O points will be deducted from the grade for each day thepaper is late. This is not an optional assignment.Students who fail to submit a paper will receive an incomplete in this courseuntil one is submitted. Keep in mindthat this paper is 15% of your total grade.
