The essay on climate change is to be based on your personal evaluation based upon seeing both of the documentaries “An Inconvenient Truth” and “Not Evil, Just Wrong”. In this essay I want you to tell me whether you believe that climate change is being significantly augmented by human carbon dioxide emissions (or any greenhouse gas emissions) or whether you feel that it is primarily a natural phenomenon largely devoid of human effect.
those are the full instructions

Your essay should include an introductory paragraph (10 points) which summarizes the issue at hand and which cites the two documentaries which were seen in order to help you come to this conclusion. Since this is an essay and not a research paper, I am NOT expecting you to do additional research, but instead to contemplate the things which have already been brought to your attention, assess the relative truth value behind them, and make a judgment. You can feel free to do any other outside “research” if you feel that you need to do this, however I am not expecting or requiring this. I simply want you to evaluate what you have seen and tell me the best course of action that we should take as a nation or civilization.
I would like you then to offer up three (3) distinct pieces of evidence (45 points) which support your claim. Preferably, discuss each in its own paragraph and clearly communicate how it supports the side you are taking. Examples can be anything which informs you of your conclusion about the process.
As a part of a comprehensive analysis, I also want you to include two (2) pieces of evidence (30 points) put forth by the opposing side of the debate. State what they are and then explain why you believe that they are incorrect (why they are wrong or how they are not actual evidence – or not necessarily evidence – or why the reasoning is not correct or how the reasoning is inhibited or too shallow, etc.).
Finally, include a summary paragraph (15 points) restating your point and the reasons for it. Your conclusion should be your final statement of why or why not human beings are significantly contributing to climate change.
