31 Aug two topic research
This assignment requires you to write an essay focusing on but using Paul’s other where appropriate, on one of the following topics:
- Resurrection
- Circumcision
- Sin
- Sex
In other words, you should start with how Paul explains these issues in 1 Corinthians and then show how his view in the first epistle to Corinth is, or is not, consistent with the other New Testament letters that all scholars agree that he wrote.
You may need to do some research to complete this assignment but please focus on scholarly resources. These include the links provided in the syllabus and class materials, but you can also search the JSTOR and ATLA databases on the library website.
This is a formal essay but you can use the first person singular ("I"). Format your essay according to any widely accepted protocol (.) Include a bibliography but NOT a cover page. Maximum length 5 – 7 pages. For consistency’s sake, use the RSV version of
