Part 1: Deviance

Part 2: Discussion (100 to 200 words) (Worth 20 points)
Answer the following questions:
1. What is deviance based on the lecture provided in part 1?
2. Based the assigned materials from Friday, what are examples of deviance and discuss why they were deviant? Please refer only to the assigned materials from Friday on manipulation and hacking.
Part 3: Exercise 1: Manipulation (100 to 200 words)
Find an issue that relates to manipulation that you are most concerned about. Then find a material to share. Make sure that it is from a reputable source. Provide a brief summary about your concern and the material that you are sharing with the class. Make sure to give a link.
Part 4: Exercise 2: Hacking (200 to 400 words)
1. Share a story about either you or someone you know that has been hacked. Write a summary of the story. If you have not been hacked and also do not know anyone that has been hacked then find a story to share with the class. You will need to provide a summary and a link to the story.
2. Next discuss what were the social issues related to the hack that you shared? For example, age, emotion, intimate knowledge of private information etc.
3. Next discuss what were the technical issues that allowed for the hack to take place?
4. What would you as a mobile app developer do to prevent hacking? Try to use the example and discuss how you could improve the technology.
