31 Aug Human made Disasters
You have been given the task of disseminating information that appraises emergency medical services (EMS)/fire safety concerns for a possible human-made disaster in your area. You may select any type of human-made disaster, real or imagined. You will create a PowerPoint with voice-over that includes a title slide, references slide, and at least 12 content slides. Your presentation will be delivered to your agency, station, or crew. Your PowerPoint will contain the following information:
- definition of a human-made disaster,
- discussion of the possible event,
- potential scale of its effects,
- possible performance issues to the event,
- recommended strategies for preplanning to promote community resilience,
- mitigation strategies, and
- summary of the communication plan for during the event and post event strategies.
The assignment requires at least two outside sources. One source should be from the CSU Online Library. Please adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment. APA formatting, however, is not necessary. Don’t forget to give credit for graphics and photographs as needed.
