31 Aug formal essay

1. This is a formal essay and should be formatted according to APA guidelines. Review the APA information in the CWL 1000 Resources area of the course if you need assistance. You do not need to include an abstract.
2. Write a 1,000-word (minimum) essay addressing one of the topics described below. You must meet the minimum word count to get full credit.
3. Your essays must include quotes from each text used to get full credit. Be sure to quote, cite, and reference from the text(s) using appropriate APA format.
4. You can obtain additional writing help by reviewing the material in the Essay Tutorial link (in the CWL 1000 resources area of the course) or the Keiser Online Writing Lab (OWL).
5. Save your essay as a Microsoft Word document, and identify your work by using your last name in the file name (example: LastnameFinal.docx). 
   

Choose ONE of the following and write a formal 1,000-word essay:

1. Consider the film you watched in Week 1 (Cinema Paradiso, City of God, A Hijacking, the Bicycle Thief, or A Passage to India). Explore three political and/or social issues that affect the plot. How do these issues affect the characters?
