Your critical review of the one book – your final project – picked out from the list provided on the syllabus, but NOT the text for this course- should be taking into account its social and political context and the pertinent theoretical and empirical literature. The essay needs to be at least 4 pages in length, excluding the references and cover page. Make sure that this is your original submission and not what others have written about this book.

My suggestion would be to structure your assignment as follows:

1. Overview of the book’s content – about 2 pages

2. Focus on one major theme that appears to be the most important theme of the book – 1 page

3. Your analysis of this problem, based on the explanations rooted in theories and research that you have been exposed to in this class and also in your other courses – 1 to 2 pages.

DO NOT FORGET TO REFERENCE YOUR SOURCES – APA STYLE!
