Your assignment is to write a letter to someone you know, it could be a friend, parent, teacher, political figure, or anyone else you feel like writing to that you know. In this letter, you will describe to them something specific that shifted your perspective in the course of your time taking this class, including the momentous political events we are experiencing just now in the wake of the killing of George Floyd and the police violence and demonstrations that have surged in its wake. You do not need to refer to 2 of the course readings, as was stated initially, though you are encouraged to use course readings. You can also refer to contemporary media and texts you have looked at from elsewhere. Please cite to all texts.
